The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC offers state-of-the-art clinical training, but the student, faculty and alumni experience is in no way clinical. Like other USC schools, there is a palpable sense of pride in the academic community. Furthermore, Ostrow’s community programs have played a historical role in providing care to underserved populations in and around Los Angeles, including migrant farm workers and the homeless.

In addition to addressing a long list of functional requirements, including the creation of robust systems for news/event listings and complex course descriptions, it was crucial for the website to visually represent Ostrow’s culture by expanding upon USC’s institutional brand.
