Gyopo is a collective of diasporic Korean cultural producers and arts professionals generating and sharing progressive, critical, intersectional and intergenerational discourses, community alliances, and free educational programs in Los Angeles and beyond. In light of the pandemic, the collective’s purpose had grown to encompass covid-19 anti-racist activism. Gyopo’s voice was much needed within greater conversations surrounding racial injustices, and their website would enable them to be heard. I worked with a team comprised of fellow like-minded artists to redesign the their website in an effort to express their kaleidoscopic perspectives on Korean heritage, to connect with broader audiences and to galvanize their community.
