The publication “(self-portraits as) neither donkey nor horse” is the companion to a solo exhibition of the same name at Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles curated by Allison C. Smith and featuring the work of stephanie mei huang. In addition to documenting exhibited works, “(self-portraits)” includes writing by the artist, letters to the artist and a curator’s essay.
